Foyle-Stsura Duo is delighted to have won First Prize at the Salieri-Zinetti International Chamber Music Competition 2015, which took place between 8-13 September in Verona and Mantova, Italy. After the pre-selection round, 51 ensembles ranging from a duo to a quartet were admitted to the competition. The international jury led by the former concertmaster of the Metropolitan Opera, renowned violinist Elmira Darvarova, has been auditioning the ensembles over the course of three rounds. As part of their prize, Foyle-Stsura Duo will give a concert tour in Italy and also play their debut recital at the New York Chamber Music Festival in 2016.
